As part of the Academic Success system, every student gets his or her own personal web-based calendar. This calendar helps organize schoolwork to avoid the overwhelming feeling many students get when they don’t know where to begin to accomplish a task. Students use this calendar to log in major tests and assignments, set goal grades, record actual grades, and create tasks necessary to achieve goals. Our parents have access to the calendar and receive critical feedback from each session. The Academic Success web calendar provides a roadmap, steering the student to begin a week or more before a given assignment is due. Students have a few bite-sized tasks to complete each day to get the goal grade they set for themselves, and feel confident in the process.
